How Much?

I woke up Friday morning and Jordan's things were gone.

No goodbye. He has moved in with Joel. What can I say, we did the best we could.

How much can you pray for a child

When you have given him so much

When all the child does is take

When all you want is a kind touch

How much can you love a child

When he doesn't seem to love you back

When he walks out the door

Without a thought of looking back

How much hurt can you take from a child

Will the hurt ever go away

Will the love you have for this child

Be returned to me someday?
